A Manhattan Tea Party

The Terrier journeyed to City Hall Park to express opposition to the Anointed One, Obama. More specifically, to his plans. Any hope that he would govern as a centrist (which I never expected) is lost. Throughout the country Americans are turning out in growing numbers to say "No." Of course, with the Executive and Legislative branches in the hands of the doling class, saying "No" has little immediate effect.

Nancy Peolsi has expressed her belief that hundreds of millions for birth control in the stimulus bill is going to help the economy because local and state communities will not have to bear the costs of the young children who might result if not for the birth control. She would have been thrilled by the Black Death. With a 1/3 of Europe dead wages rose.

The Terrier has had little to say on this depressing campaign season, but after hearing the Chosen's speech in Berlin a word comes to mind: GASBAG.

"Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed."
Michelle Obama, february 2008

The Terrier has just caught up with this outrageous statement by the 1st Lady hopeful. Audacity seems to be something of a theme for the couple from Illinois. Ooops! BHO has said attacks on his wife are "unacceptable". He speaks more like the Sun King than a republican (in the broadest sense of the world.

The Terrier has sat on the sidelines throughout this campaign, but now, in the words of Droopy Dog, I'm really mad:
"We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and
keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times... and then just
expect that other countries are going to say OK. That's not
leadership. That's not going to happen."

Says Obama.
I think that's not leadership.

Michelle Obama
Doesn't think law or finance are good career choices. Nursing, teaching, that's where it's at.
“We left corporate America, which is a lot of what we’re asking young people to do,” she tells the women. “Don’t go into corporate America. You know, become teachers. Work for the community. Be social workers. Be a nurse. Those are the careers that we need, and we’re encouraging our young people to do that."
I guess they've got theirs and the aiming for more than teaching or nursing has served her well.
The hypocrisy of the typical liberal never ceases to amaze.

Michelle Obama at the age of 44 is proud of her country for the first time in her adult life. I don't think I want a woman to be first lady if the only reason she is proud of her country is because her husband has a shot at running it.
I suppose "change" includes a lack of patriotism at the top.
